NOTICE: With President Trump's return to the White House, we anticipate the resumption of our client representation service at the Bureau of Land Management's Office in Cheyenne, Wyoming, for the federal oil and gas leasing program. We suspended client representation activities when President Biden signed his ill-advised Executive Order No. 14008 (and its Section 208 that directed his Secretary of the Interior to issue a moratorium and halt all authorizations to drill for oil & gas on federal lands [Secretary's Order No. 3395]). These ridiculous restrictions, predicated on the so called "climate change crisis" however, never impacted our client representation for the negotiations and acquisition of entitlements, authorizations, and the development of telecommunication facilities on federally administered lands. Nevertheless, the length of time it takes to negotiate, develop and construct telecom infrastructure on federal lands remains overly burdensome and takes too many years before construction can even commence, something the Trump Administration will be addressing.
